Your book totally changed the direction we were going with our son. The information was concise and easy to understand. More importantly, it gave us a game plan that we could use to tackle our ADD issues. Thank You!

  2. Kathy Schumacher says:

“This is a book I return to frequently as we all stray from good habits to help support our children from time to time. Whether it be our own schedules that interfere or just life in general. Keeping records and watching your child change with the help of this product is key. You will see improvements in both your child and in your own as the stress levels go down for everyone.”

  3. Mona Boles says:

“This was a Godsend for us, as teachers were pressuring us to put my grandson on add drugs. I searched the internet for a solution and found your information. This approach has been a miracle for us, and I have told many other parents about it.”

  4. Gabriela Szegner says:

We are also working on behavioral changes now that he is able to deal with correction without “losing it.” His school work has improved remarkably as has his liking for school. Sorry I can’t give a full review yet; am recommending it to all!”

  7. Kim says:

“I’m so glad I could learn about ADHD. I love reading the material you provided for me. I’m was so glad to learn about Neu-Bcalmd and how important it is to take Multi-Vitamins”

  8. Marissa Mijal says:

My 9-year old had been struggling with add for a few years. I put him on a prescription when he was 8. The first one soon became ineffective.

The second one, concerta, worked until I realized that everyone time I talked to him –about anything –he started crying. I immediately took him off the prescription – there was no way I would let him suffer depression as a side effect of concerta.

I had read a lot of books about this, but once again turned to the internet to see if there was any other possible solution. I found the site
http://adhdcured.com/blog/?p=4 where it said they cured add by following three steps on another web site. I followed that link and paid the $33 to get the book by Jon Bennett (I figured $33 was a small price compared to the $130 I spend every month for the prescription.

The book talked about basic things like healthy eating, exercise etc, but it also mentioned an amino acid formula to enhance the brain activity in the frontal lobe – this was exactly what I had been looking for for the past 5 years, the right time of vitamin to help his brain. I ordered the supplement and he has been on a low dose ever since. When he is on it he is able to focus, do his homework in a timely manner, speak in a normal tone of voice, listen when I talk to him, keep his hands to himself and lead a normal nine-year-old life. When I forget to give it to him, all of these behaviours come back. I am very happy that I can give him amino acids, not a drug, and help him achieve his potential.

  9. Lisa says:

“As a spouse of someone who has Adult ADHD this has been so helpful for me to understand why he was acting/re-acting to everyday issues at home and sometimes outside the home. This book has helped me to understand how his mind is working and also gave me tools to help him. He is working on his diet and he has always exercised, but has changed his routine up a bit. We have not bought the supplements yet, but I believe that should be our next step. He is taking some of them on the list, but I think he needs more of a combination.
This review is from a loving spouses view.

  38. Joy says:

I purchased your book “3 Steps to Conqering ADD” a couple of years ago and it has made a difference in my life with my two sons, now ages 12 and 13. We had just started down the road of ADD medication, advised to me by their TEACHERS, which I now know is against the law. During Christmas break that same year, I detoxed my boys from the prescription meds and moved to a natural supplement and added vitamins to their diet. We have seen great improvement. Even the teachers didn’t say anything! However, when it came time for the IEP reviews and updated info on meds, I told them we weren’t using prescriptions anymore. One son’s teacher was thoroughly impressed and said she almost emailed me to say a good report but didn’t want to jinx it. My other son’s teacher immediately started emailing the next day about how he was disruptive and how I really needed to get him back on ADD meds right away. I laughed and told her that he hadn’t been on meds for 4 1/2 months and she never said anything during that entire time. Thank you for providing us parents with resources so we are armed and educated when discussing ADD and behavior with the teachers.

    John,
First of all let me say, “Thanks for all you do”. You have probably helped more people with this condition than almost anyone else out there. I read your book years ago and recently purchased the updated version. Very good content and right on the money for the top three reasons. I was disappointed in your electronic delivery system. I was never able to download one of the bonuses I received and didn’t receive help from your support desk. They just said it should work. I am still happy with the order even without the bonus though and would order your book again even without the bonus. Thanks again.

    • Jon Bennett says:

David. I am sorry you had trouble with the bonus. Which one was it? I wi; gladly take take of it right away!

  55. lynn granger says:

this book is truely amazing, without it my son would be on several different medications to treat his ADHD and OCD, since i have made several changes in his diet, that alone has had a big impact on him. i really would like to try nue-becalmd, but my son is only 5. he has anger outburst and out of control temper tantrums when he doesn’t get his way. i am surely still pulling my hair out. but all in all one step at a time as i make my way through the book. thus far this book is truely amazing i would so recommend it to anyone… P.S doctors said my daughter is ADD, however i changed her diet and all the symptoms are gone, she has sever allergies. who knew they had the same symptoms as ADD. this book has changed my kids. the knowledge you need to know is all in black and white. never knew reading could have this much of an impact on my family. thanks so much!

I appreciate this book because it confirms other research that I’ve read on ADD/ADHD. Prior to reading this book, I had already begun changing my son’s diet and adding a recommened supplement. Your book confirmed and validated what I had decided to do to help my son. At his recent conference, his teacher mentioned that she had seen tremendous improvement since I implemented these changes. I would appreciate, however, more specific advice/recommendations for young children in terms of food, excercise, and specific supplements. Also, what about caffeine? Thank you!!

I am really enjoying reading the ADD-ADHD, both on-line and in book form.
I am a parent educator, and the information I am learning has become invaluable.
I am sharing the information with my parents. They are becoming much more aware of the harm junk food and fast food is doing to their children.
I like that is easy “easy” read, not filled with words you have to constantly be looking up in the dictionary!
    It has practical applications.
By the way, even though I enjoy the audio version of the book, and the gentleman that is reading it, I think I would still enjoy hearing you read it!

  84. Kelly says:

  85. Heather says:

Your book has totally helped us. The format couldn’t be better; simple and concise. My husband has been taking the supplements you suggest for a few months now and it’s made all the difference in the world. Thanks!

  86. Carson Hill says:

The book was great. All of the information makes sense. I have done a lot of research in the area already and have always been a healthy eater, little or no food coloring of additives, and as many whole/natural and unprocessed foods as possible for my family. I did feel that the book was a little vague in that it didn’t give me a plan but made me feel like I had to purchase your next couple of books etc. I just recently picked up a new “food supplement” prescription vitamin called Vayarin (only being used in N. and S. Carolina) that I will be starting my daughter on tomorrow. It is similar to what supplements you suggest too. I would love to take her off a stimulant but feel like I’ve already been doing the food thing correctly….what more can I do to help her be stimulant free? We are also trying Cogmed this summer…..She has an IQ of 141 with her lowest subset scores being working memory due to ADHD. “Twice Exceptional”

  87. saran says:

I have only had the book for a few days, and already I have found it very informative.

  88. Ellie says:

  90. Philippa says:

    Your book was absolutely amazing.
I have already implemented some changes with supplementation as suggested in the book and my 8 year old daughter’s teacher wrote me a note on the first Monday at school to tell me what a fantastic day they had had. My daughter was given that lovely comment on the Monday, Roary the class Lion to take home on Tuesday, on Wednesday she was told she was being given a merit on the Friday in assembly and on Thursday she received a star for good work. The teacher was amazed, I was amazed and my daughter was SO happy to be given such wonderful feedback. The following week she did swimming trials, she won her race and got into the A-swimming team. We are feeling so happy and finally that there is a solution to help our child without drugs.
Thank you SO much for such a WONDERFUL book. All your years of research are really helping others.
