Auditory Simulation of ADD-ADHD

This site attempts to simulate how hard it is to pay attention with ADD.

…Interesting :-)

Even thought the site is outdated, there are some really good points. You can see the entire site here….

Also, boys hearing ability less than girls…check out Leonard Sax book
Why gender matters. So they have that to deal with as well as the noise.

I believe this is what my son hears. I am fortunate enough that my 5 year old sons Pre-K teacher recognized this along with other tendancies of boys and did find a way to put him at a table alone and away but still with the group. He was able to test and perform academically at an amazing level that the teachers would not have recognized had they not “Tuned down the noise!”. I think we need to learn and help our teachers to learn to recognize this noise block. We must be proactive in this. Schools are over populated and we will need to help teachers with recognizing the differance in a childs ability and their surroundings.
