Hello Dr. Rory Stern,

First I want to say "Praise GOD and GOD BLESS YOU" for Common Sense people like you, Dr. Saunders and Mr. Jon Bennett for your contribution on the issue of the use of meds. to treat children who have been diagnosed with ADHD/ADD. It is nice to know that someone is putting out evidential and actual facts on this issue.

I just heard your pod cast on the issue with Mr. Bennett online after I read your letter to Dr. Scott Saunders in support of his book for ADHD/ADD Natural Remedy Report.

After hearing both I am now completely convinced meds. are not the best choice for my 6 year old boy who is very smart, NO exageration and has been diagnosed suppossedly with 3 seperate behavior disorders by three seperate behaviorial psychologist( Sorry, this means they all came up with something different from one another) from the same organization.

One was a Psychologist who was highly reveered suggessted and prescribed "Tenex". Which after I had my visit with my son's ped. doctor he could not really give me to much info other than that it was a blood pressure med. which I already knew, which in turn did'nt help my indecision much needless to say. Nor did the fact I found out later that the FDA ONLY approved of the use of TENEX for children of the ages of "12 YEARS OLD and ABOVE! How can someone prescribe a drug for a young child suited for adolescence?

I also wish someone would tell me how in the world considering all we know and "OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW" is how in the world was it concieved that a simple paper test, which does nothing but biasly repeats the same questions over and over and can be easily disern one or another takeing in the consideration as was mentioned that the symtoms or signs of the disorder could fall under any number of conditions.

"Are you kidding me a PAPER test for something as complicated as behavior depending on the environmentNthe person is in that going to decide what drug of choice I am going to play RUSSIAN RUELETTE with my childs life. What happened to good logical science and all that jazz? Is this the millennium or the NEANDETHAL age.

I may not have a PHD in medicine or phsychology but I do know I have at least a God given Associates in SIMPPLE COMMON SENSE, considering the disadvantages of the use of meds. to treat ADHD/ADD.

"Yes Alex I think I'll pass on pharma meds. for now and take a look at alternative meds. in hopes that my son can avoid a long and gruling dimise as a zombie child, robbing him of a fulfilling life and possibly sending him to an early grave.

THANK YOU GUYS
Sincerely,

A very concermed single parent.
