Parenting an ADD child is like running through a maze! You must be prepared to change direction quickly, and also to get lost! Thanks for breaking it down into some simple techniques – it makes everything feel a little easier!

Thanks for offering some straightforward techniques that anyone can use with their ADD/ADHD kids. It’s easy to become overwhelmed at times with parenitng, and this keeps you focused on what’s really important. I am going to recommend this site to other parents with ADD kids!

I am a divorced father and the parent of an ADHD kid. One of the problems I have is that I do things differently at my house than my ex-wife does at hers. Because of this, my child’s ADHD behaviors are out of control. I have used these parenting tips and they seem to work. Even when I showed them to my ex-wife, she had to agree that perhaps she ought to try it. Maybe we will finally get on the same page about parenting!

I have tried these techniques with my ADD child and they have really made a difference. I am now incorporating them into my parenting of my older child who doesn’t have ADD! Thanks for the help!
