I am interested, though I'm still groping. My child is 10 years old. He has not been diagnosed with this although as I've heard or studied about ADD or ADHD I wonder if he has this disorder. He may also have one of the other 51 things masked as ADD. I haven't yet found the questionarre to look at. But I know that he was beyond reason the other day, and sure enough he had failed to eat breakfast. He was given an egg on sprouted grain toast, and immediately settled down. I ordered your book, and I'm waiting to see what I can do for him. He was a very sweet mild baby. Very anxious to do good when 2 or 3, by the time he was four he was starting loosing all of that, even saying bizarre things like: I asked him to come out of the road explaining he could get ran over, and he'd say, "Good I want to be ran over" etc. Everyone knows he's a handful at times, and now he is almost as big as me. I'm 5'2". Yet he can be so loving and sweet. Other times he pushes me away and says don't do that! If I try to hug him. He will be calm and good or he'll yell and say he is going to --do the opposite of whatever it is I ask of him. He is very smart in school. He skipped fourth grade this year, and started fifth. Then he'll just sit and not do anything. He'll go out to recess, then come in and quick do all his work and be done before the others. Does he fit into your category? Or one of the other 51? Thanks Susanna Steed
