you’re saying that to have ADD ADHD is apparently a good thing!

It isn’t a bad thing either.  It is a blessing and also a devil of a challenge.  It is sometimes one or the other, sometimes both.  It’s as unique as people.  No two ADHD’s are alike.

I agree we don’t have to change people with ADHD we have to listen to them.

This was awesome!!! Who is to say who is normal. I am grateful for those people who are willing to not follow the norm, and believe in themselves to change the world and make it a better place for us all to live in. There are just incredible people out there that are willing to be different and stand alone. They sometime walk to a different drum-but they sure accomplish alot in their lifetime

I think this is great, I’ve been thinking this is the correct way to look at ADHD for a long time now. :)

I really like this video; because people like my twin daughters who have ADHD are not labeled stupid and useless.

How can I improve my self?

  14. Private Schools ADHD March 25, 2011 at 8:14 am #

Because many children who have ADD and ADHD don’t perform well in traditonal public or private schools, more parents are exploring private schools specializing in ADD/ADHD. Such schools structure their academic programs in such a way that will help children develop better social skills as well as study habits.

I agree. I think we will see more and more privatized, specialized
educational options for those of us who don’t fit the mold.

This is a great video! Well done! :) There were many included that I knew had said they have ADHD, but how did you find out about the others? You should include your sources so that those of us who want to share, will never get any questions about where the info came from. Believe it or not, some people are quick to refute claims of ADHD in celebrities. I love to prove them wrong when they do. :)

ADD is a gift. the older you get the better it becomes. most people have to learn to multi task. I can’t help but to multi task. it really does become a gift.

I love this video and am also one of those people who think I am crazy enough to change the world. One of the things I’ve had to really learn to work on is balance and being productive—because it doesn’t matter how many genius ideas I have if I can’t bring myself to get them done. I wrote a bit about how I’ve been able to be productive in an adhd world (http://aishaquinece.com/2011/06/being-productive-in-an-adhd-world/) and so far it’s helped… Again, thanks for the post.
